Festivities kick off at 11 a.m., with the first 100 guests in line receiving a FREE Mini Warrior Bowl, setting the tone for a day filled with positive energy, music and sweet surprises. Guests can expect a live DJ, exclusive swag drops and additional giveaways throughout the event, turning opening day into a local celebration.
Located in a family-friendly suburb known for its scenic landscapes, trail system and outdoor recreation, Burke offers a natural fit for South Block’s offerings, appealing to residents seeking to add protein-packed smoothies and better-for-you options into their daily routines.
“We’ve always believed that South Block is about more than what’s in the bowl. It’s about how our guests feel when they walk through our doors,” said Amir Mostafavi, CEO and founder of South Block. “Burke has a strong sense of community, and we’re excited to be part of it while continuing to give back in meaningful ways. Our mission is simple: to make people feel awesome one block at a time by spreading good vibes and fresh food.”
The Burke location will serve the brand’s signature acai bowls, smoothies and cold-pressed juices, all made fresh to order with high-quality ingredients. New menu additions include mini acai bowls, offering a more flexible way to try fan-favorites, as well as protein smoothies designed for a post-workout boost. For a limited time, guests can also enjoy the Cherry Blossom Smoothie, a spring-inspired blend of real dark cherries, cranberry juice, bananas and a “cocowhip” twist.
Open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Burke location marks South Block’s 24th location across Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.
